PURPOSE: A magnetron filament power supply is provided to reduce the size of high-voltage transformer by eliminating a noise filter coil to improve the flow of current flowing on a filament. CONSTITUTION: A high-voltage transformer(2) supplies an AC(Alternating Current) power. A magnetron filament(7) receives a predetermined power through a first power supply winding of the high-voltage transformer(2). A cathode(8) has an electrical polarity opposite to that of the magnetron filament(7). A body(9) includes the magnetron filament(7) and the cathode(8) and keeps a grounding potential. An antenna(10) is connected to the inside of the body(9). A high-voltage rectifying diode(15) rectifies an AC voltage into a DC(Direct Current) voltage. A high-voltage smoothing capacitor(14) charges the DC voltage smoothed by the high-voltage rectifying diode(15) to supply an anode current required for operating a magnetron. A noise absorption capacitor(16) absorbs a microwave noise to prevent from draining out through an anode power line. A metal shield case(11) wraps the body(9), a noise filter coil, and the noise absorption capacitor(16) to electrically shield them from the outside.
