Stationary cordless telephone terminal

The telephone terminal includes a stationary unit (3) with an operating surface and an earpiece or receiver (2). The receiver is connected to the unit by a cordless connection. Only the operating surface is provided on the unit. The receiver may be provided with a button (10) for switching a radio connection to the stationary unit on and off. The receiver may also or alternatively be provided with a mute switch (10). Preferably the receiver only has one button. The stationary unit may have a large surface area touch sensitive image screen (7) as an operating surface.
