CARD TYPE INPUT-OUTPUT INTERFACE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a second device by utilizing the existing configuration of a first device concerning a card type input-output interface device for connecting the first device and the second device. SOLUTION: This input-output interface device connects the first device (e.g. main body device) and the second device (e.g. external device) having a function that is not usually used in the first device, and is provided with: a first connecting part 1 provided at one end of a card 4 whose external form is a card type and for transmitting and receiving data to/from the first device; a second connecting part 2 provided at the other end of the card 4 and for transmitting and receiving data to/from the second device through a transmission line (e.g. cable) attached in a removable way; and a transferring part (e.g. circuit part 3) which can perform data transfer between the first connecting part and the second connecting part while being inserted into the slot for card insertion of the first device from the one end of the card 4 so that the inserted card 4 does not project from the first device.
