PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent residual toner on a photoreceptor drum from passing through a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: A shaft 57 nearly in parallel with the bus of a photoreceptor drum surface is supported by the housing of a cleaning device. A frame main body 58 is supported by the shaft 57 so as to be freely rocked. The cleaning blade and several motors 54 are attached to the frame main body 58. An eccentric weight 63 is attached to the output shaft 54a of the motor 54, and also the output shaft 54a is set nearly in parallel with the shaft 57. The edge of the cleaning blade is made to abut on the photoreceptor drum surface by a tension spring. When the residual toner is aggregated in the vicinity of the edge, the cleaning blade is vibrated through the frame main body 58 by rotating the motor 54, so that the residual toner is shaken off. Since the output shaft 54a is made in parallel with the shaft 57, sufficient vibration is generated by a small motor 54.
