PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structural body for a solid high polymer fuel cell capable of providing excellent ion conductivity even when starting it at a low temperature. SOLUTION: This electrode structural body is equipped with a pair of electrode catalyst layers 1, 1, and a high polymer electrolyte membrane 2 sandwiched by both electrode catalyst layers 1, 1. The high polymer electrolyte membrane 2 comprises a high polymer body provided with a sulfonic group, and contains 5 wt.% or more coordinated water coordinated in the proton of the sulfonic group to the total weight of the high polymer electrolyte membrane 2. |
