PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter that generates an ultra-high frequency local oscillation signal/carrier signal with high frequency stability in a very simple configuration. SOLUTION: A wireless control station 1 converts an IF signal and a sub harmonic signal respectively into optical signals and composites them to transmit to a wireless base station 2 through an optical fiber 6. The wireless base station 2 converts the optical signal corresponding to the IF signal into an electric signal, allows an optical injection synchronous oscillator 9 to oscillate a local oscillation signal synchronously with the sub harmonic signal. A frequency converter 10 up-converts the IF electric signal by mixing the the local oscillation signal and amplifies the signal to transmit from an antenna.
