PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information regenerating equipment which enables time difference regeneration of analog input image information to which a copy guard signal is added. SOLUTION: When analog input image information is inputted, the information is digitized with an A/D 51. When a copy guard signal is detected in the information with a copy guard detecting part 52, a detection information that a copy guard signal is contained is generated. Digital input image information is recorded in a hard disk HD together with the detection information, with a record regenerating part 53. When the detection information is contained in regenerated image information regenerated with the record regenerating part 53, a copy guard adding part 54 adds the copy guard signal to the regenerated image information and outputs it. Recorded information wherein regeneration is finished is erased in sequence from the hard disk HD, at the same time as the regeneration finish of the recorded image information in the hard disk HD.
