PURPOSE: A digital remote control public address system based on a network is provided to supply a multimedia server for compressing, restoring, and converting sound into a protocol adapted to a network, transmitting the sound, using a Linux OS, performing a COM PORT for controlling various kinds of sounders, and receiving fire fighting data of emergency supplies, and to supply a computer for being connected to the multimedia server through a LAN or the Internet. CONSTITUTION: In a public address system including a sound generating device(16) such as a mike(12), a speaker(14), a cassette deck, or a CD player, and a fire receiving unit or emergency supplies(18), a multimedia server(20) is connected to the mike(12), the speaker(14), and a fire receiving unit or emergency supplies(18) through a communication protocol such as an RS-232, an RS-485, etc. The multimedia server(20) performs a COM PORT communication for an operation control of the mike(12) and the speaker(14), includes a serial PORT for receiving fire fighting data of the emergency supplies, converts a signal being output from the devices into a protocol adapted to a network, transmits the signal, and outputs an operation control signal to the mike(12) and the speaker(14). A manager system(30) includes a mike, is connected to the multimedia server(20) through a communication network such as a LAN, the Internet, etc., selects an operation mode of various kinds of public address systems after a user authentication, and outputs an operation control signal corresponded thereto and a voice signal for a broadcasting. |
