Automobile clutch coupled to rev regulator for regulation of engine revs in dependence on detected clutch slip

The clutch has an element for detecting the disengaged, slip and engaged clutch positions, e.g. by cooperation with the clutch operating device and which is electrically coupled to a rev regulator, for regulation of the engine revs. An Independent claim for a method for regulation of engine revs via a rev regulator in dependence on clutch slip in an automobile is also included.
