PURPOSE: A vacuum centrifugal concentrator is provided to concentrate a liquid sample using vacuum and centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION: As a driving unit for supporting and rotating a tube holder(6) in a chamber(2), a fixing shaft(17) is fixedly disposed through the center of a bottom face(2a) of the chamber. A stator section(24) and rotor section(31) of the rotor are supported on the fixing shaft so that they can face to each other with the bottom face(2a) of the chamber penetrated by the fixing shaft(17) midway between them.
