PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic sleeve for heating satisfying fixing performance, quick-start performance, contamination preventive performance at the time of endurance and torque-up preventive performance and to cope with high speed on-demand fixation for achieving the above performances. SOLUTION: This metallic sleeve 13 for heating is interposed between a member 11 for heating and a space between the member 11 for heating and a pressure member 20 and provides heat from the member 11 for heating by contacting an object material P to be heated. This sleeve is formed by a flexible cylindrical metallic element pipes as a base layer and has surface roughness of Rz=3μm or less on outer and inner surfaces of the cylindrical metallic element pipe and thickness of 20μm or less of a mold release layer containing a bonding layer on the outer surface.
