PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator that aims at enhancing the yield and high reliability. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator that protects semiconductor components against an external stress by covering the semiconductor components most receptible of external effects by an insulation film and has excellent moisture resistance, heat resistance and long term reliability against a surrounding atmosphere. In addition, the insulating coating film covering the semiconductor components insulates the semiconductor components mounted on the piezoelectric oscillator from a mount board and eliminates electric effects on the mount board because of no voltage difference between the coating film and the mount board.
