PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a PCI bus load by shortening the access time of a transaction extending over different layers of a PCI bus made hierarchical. SOLUTION: A PCI bus controller 106 obtains data that an IO card 108 refers to by a CPU 101 and stores them inside and when a memory read transaction is performed by the IO card 108, data for the memory read transaction are sent from the PCI bus controller 106 to the IO card when stored in the controller 106 or obtained from the CPU 101 through a primary PCI bus when not.
