PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a high quality polymer in large quantity by a droplet polymerization process even using a polymerizable monomer with high reaction rate. SOLUTION: This polymerization method is a process comprising mixing a first liquid and a second liquid in vapor phase and polymerizing in droplet state, where a polymerizable monomer and a polymerization initiator are each included in the first liquid and/or the second liquid, characterized in that the first liquid and the second liquid are spouted in the vapor phase in droplet form, and controlled so that the droplet of the first liquid and the droplet of the second liquid are mixed in the vapor phase.
