PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop suitable for a door for an electrical-equipment housing facility capable of automatically fixing a lock at the place of a door opened and capable of releasing the lock by a single operation. SOLUTION: The door stop for the door is composed of a guide frame 5 fixed into an opening section, a restraint bar 6 connecting the guide frame 5 and the door 1 and a locking mechanism locking a sliding pin 7 fixed onto the restraint bar 6 in the case of a door opening. The locking mechanism has a lock body 15, which is installed to the guide frame 5 and to which a lock shaft section 11 for the sliding pin 7 is engaged and which captures the lock shaft section 11. The lock body 15 can be displaced extending over an engaging place where the lock shaft section 11 is engaged and captured and a floating place where the passage of the lock shaft section 11 under the guide frame 5 is permitted, and is moved and urged at the engaging place by the first spring 12. When the door 1 is brought near at the opening place, the lock shaft section 11 is passed between the lock body 15 and the guide frame 5, and engaged and captured in a lock hole 22 for the lock body 15.
