<p>A method for reusing standard blots and microarray. A first assay is conducted, including, a first hybridization of a target nucleic acid to probe nucleic acid located on an assay format and hybridization of a first capture reagent to that target nucleic acid, wherein the target nucleic acid has a first capture sequence which hybridizes with a complementary nucleic acid sequence of the first capture reagent. After completion of the first assay, including detection of signal, the first capture reagent is stripped from the target nucleic acid. A second assay is then conducted on the same assay format used for the first assay by performing a second hybridization of target nucleic acid to probe nucleic acid, and hybridizing a second capture reagent to the target nucleic acid of the second assay, wherein the target nucleic acid of the second assay has a second capture sequence for hybridization to the second capture reagent, the second capture sequence being a nucleic acid sequence which is different from the nucleic acid sequence of the first capture sequence.</p> |
