Method for correction of a spoken dialogue between a player and a child's electronic toy, whereby words spoken by the player are compared with standard words stored in a file, and when a match is found, the spoken word is automatically replaced by a standard word or a corresponding synonym. The invention also relates to a corresponding telecommunications network for linking a server to the toy device thus increasing the capacity of the word database and the available system for sound and word recognition.
