A polymerization method which comprises mixing a first liquid with a second liquid in a gas phase to polymerize the monomer(s)in a droplet state,characterized in that a polymerizable monomer and a polymerization initiator are contained in at least one of the first liquid and the second liquid and at least one of the first liquid and the second liquid is jetted in a film form which spreads spatially.By the droplet polymerization method,a high−quality polymer can be efficiently mass−produced even when a polymerizable monomer having a high reaction rate is used.
