PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a structure having high strength, high toughness, high rigidity, and high twist rigidity and made of a composite material. SOLUTION: This member 1 for the structure has a two layer integral structure composed of a steel member 2 provided with a rib or a projection on its surface and short fiber reinforced concrete 3 in which short fibers such as polyvinyl alcohol and polyethylene are mixed. Moreover, a hollow inside of the structure is filled with reinforced concrete. |
