PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical plane forming method by which the optical plane is formed on the non-optical plane, and a fine optical plane shape can be directly formed on the optical planes of a molding die and a master die, etc., and the optical plane with a new function added can be easily and highly accurately formed by the fine shape structure taking notice that an irradiation position of focused ion beam can be easily and instantaneously controlled by an electric field or a magnetic field, and to provide a manufacturing method for the molding die where the optical plane is formed by using the optical plane forming method, and an optical element formed by the molding die. SOLUTION: The optical plane is formed by irradiating a surface of a base body 10 with the focused ion beam (b) so that the spot is focused on the vicinity of the surface of the base body 10, generating a molecule and/or an atom by the collision of the atmosphere in the vicinity of the surface of the base body with the focused ion beam, and adding the molecule and/or the atom on the surface of the base body. |
