<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide object vertical illumination and object transmission illumination possible with a confocal microscope. SOLUTION: The insertion of beam turnround means (10) to a side opposite to an objective lens (7) of a surface (9) of an object and in some cases beam shaping means is possible, in order to change over the object vertical illumination to be performed by the objective lens (7) toward the direction of the objective lens (7) to the object transmission illumination. The microscope is provided advantageously with at least one means of changing the object side focusing position of the irradiation light between the light source (2) and the objective lens (7) within an irradiation optical path (1).</p> |
