PRODUCTION METHOD FOR GLASS BULB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a glass bulb by an inexpensive means in large quantities and easily without needing an after processing even for a minimum diameter. SOLUTION: An end of a glass fiber or a glass rod is at least partially softened by heating; a solid glass portion is separated from a softened portion of the glass fiber or the glass rod and is sprayed. Next, the glass bulb is formed by cooling a separated and atomized glass portion because of minimizing a surface energy.
