PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems regarding securing safety in a conventional elevator door safety control device in such cases that a door is opened in the middle of an announcement, that a passenger ignores the announcement or an alarm lamp, and that a passenger is an auditory handicapped person. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a door approaching detecting means 2 to detect a passenger approaching a door, an announcing means 9 to output an announcement for caution to a passenger in a car, and a control means 8 to output the announcement by the announcing means 9 when a passenger approaching the door is detected by the door approaching detection means 2, and output the announcement again by the announcing means 9 when a passenger approaching the door is detected again by the door approaching detecting means 2 after completion of the first announcement for opening the door after completion of the second announcement.
