The construction has a main unit (1) and a monitor (2) with a support foot. The main unit (1) has a curved upper edge and side edges with V-shaped grooves to form a hanging surface (13). The monitor has a support frame on its reverse side. This has a slot into which a support plate can be inserted for fastening to the frame. A clamp is provided on the front of the support plate. The main unit is arranged such that the monitor is attached to the unit by hanging the clamp in the hanging grooves.
