PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet, superior in both of magnetic and coating film properties. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises separating a finish annealing step for performing both secondary recrystallization and forsterite film formation, into each of a batch annealing step for the secondary recrystallization and a batch annealing step for the forsterite film formation, and inserting a continuous annealing step between the two batch annealing steps.
