PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded can body with a code mark, which can be manufactured with a high production efficiency, and a method for forming a code mark thereon. SOLUTION: A code mark 5 is marked by a laser beam on a welded seam 4 of a welded can body 1, which is not coated and printed, and on a metal face of at least a part of a portion surrounded by elongated regions 3 on both sides of the welded seam 4. The code mark 5 is protected and covered with a transparent resin coating. |
