<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position abnormality detecting system capable of rapidly detecting the position abnormality of a vehicle which does not exist in a prescribed place at a prescribed time. SOLUTION: This vehicle position abnormality detecting system is provided with a GPS for detecting the current position of a vehicle 2, and outputs a transmit signal including current position information, from a transmitter 11 of the vehicle 2. A control device 36 of a receive informing device 31 is provided with a clock 39 for detecting the current time, and a memory 38 for storing the scheduled position range of the vehicle 2 at the scheduled time. The control device 36 of the receive informing device 31 determines the vehicle position to be abnormal when the current time of receiving the transmit signal is included in the previously inputted scheduled time but the current position of the vehicle 2 is not in the scheduled position range.</p> |
