PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger exhibiting a good heat exchanging efficiency while preventing electrolytic corrosion, and to provide a heat pump type hot water supply apparatus performing highly efficient heat pump operation. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchanging pipe 12A for passing a liquid being heat exchanged and a second heat exchanging pipe 12B for passing a heating medium wherein the first and second heat exchanging pipes are wound spirally to overlap alternately. The first heat exchanging pipe 12A for passing a liquid being heat exchanged is formed of a copper pipe while the second heat exchanging pipe 12B for passing a heating medium is formed of an aluminum pipe. The second heat exchanging pipe 12B made of an aluminum pipe is plated, at a part on the surface thereof touching the first heat exchanging pipe 12A made of a copper pipe, with the same material as that of the first heat exchanging pipe 12A. |
