PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition having an excellent disintegrable property in water and an excellent biodegradable property. SOLUTION: This biodegradable resin composition comprising a biodegradable resin and polyethylene glycol in a total amount of 25 to 85 wt.% and an inorganic filler in an amount of 75 to 15 wt.% is characterized in that the polyethylene glycol having a number-average molecular weight of 5,000 to 30,000 is contained in an amount of 10 to 100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the biodegradable resin.
