PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel print system capable of reducing loss of continuous paper which is stocked in a space between first and second printers when jamming occurs in the second printer. SOLUTION: When jamming occurs in the second printer 13b, the printing operations of the first and second printers 13a, 13b are stopped. The continuous paper 12 on which the printing of a first image is performed by the first printer 13a remains in the space between the first and second printers 13a, 13b. It is determined that an operation on a printing restart page by the second printer is performed from the remaining continuous paper 12. As a result, it is not necessary to remove all the continuous paper 12 stocked between the first and second printers 13a, 13b. It is possible to reduce loss of the continuous paper 12 stocked therebetween as much as possible. |
