PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an urine sample easy to be extracted for reducing the burdens on the part of patients and nurses, because much time and manpower are required for sampling of an urine from a sample container 75 in a hospital having a large number of the patients and because replacement at midnights and/or early mornings becomes difficult and sometimes generates a case where the patient feels inconvenience during daytime replacing. SOLUTION: This automatic urine measuring instrument 10 is built in with a weighing vessel 41, controlled by a microcomputer 15 and for storing the urine to measure an urine specific gravity and the like, the sample container 75 for storing one portion of the urine stored temporarily in the weighing vessel 41, and a Spitz tube 105 for sampling one portion of the urine in the sample container 75. The sample vessel 75 is supported rotatably, and the sample vessel 75 is overturned to be washed after the one portion of the urine in the sample container 75 is transferred to a Spitz tube 105 in the instrument 10.
