PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image exposure device which is formed in a small and simple constitution. SOLUTION: An optical beam scanning device 17 is constituted by containing a beam source part 106, a deflector 134 and a reflection type optical system 138. The beam source part 106 is provided with laser beam sources of three colors which are a red laser beam source 100, a green laser beam source 102 and a blue laser beam source 104. The laser beam sources of three colors are different in modulation system in accordance with respective semiconductor lasers in such a manner that the red laser beam source 100 and the blue laser beam source 104 are subjected to direct modulation and the green laser beam source 102 is subjected to external modulation based on an external modulator (AOD) 126. On the beam emission side of the beam source part 106, reflection mirrors 130, 132, a deflector 134 and an arcsine mirror 136 which constitute the reflection type optical system 138 are arranged along the beam path in order. Laser beam emitted from the beam source part is thus guided to a color photosensitive and thermosensitive recording material 34 only with the reflection type optical system and, therefore, correction with respect to the respective optical beams different in wavelength is unnecessitated.
