PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize simplification and cost reduction of a mechanism which carries out variable power operation of lenses. SOLUTION: When the variable power operation for the lenses is carried out by adjusting a relative interval of a first lens frame 10 and a second lens frame 20, which are moved back and forth in a cylindrical member 30, respectively, a cam driving member 40, and coil springs 50 and 60 are employed as the driving means. The cam driving member 40 is interposed between the first lens frame 10 and the second lens frame 20 and consists of an annular turning member having a first cam face 44 and a second cam face 45 as end face cams, that engage with respective parts 14a and 24a of the lens frame 10 and the lens frame 20. The coil springs 50 and 60 energize the parts 14a and 24a towards the cam driving member 40. Thereby, the cam faces can be formed integrally through molding, and reduction of cost, etc., can be realized.
