PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bis(aminocyclohexyl)derivative and a salt thereof, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: (1) This bis(aminocyclohexyl)derivative is represented by general formula (I) [X is phenylene group represented by general formula (II) or general formula (III)] and a salt thereof. (2) The method for producing the bis(aminocyclohexyl)derivative represented by general formula (I) or the salt thereof comprises subjecting a corresponding bis(aminophenyl)derivative and/or a salt thereof to a hydrogenation reaction.
