PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a cumene dimer from crude cumene containing the cumene dimer and bring about a stable operation without troubles caused by solidification of a fraction containing the separated cumene dimer. SOLUTION: This method is to separate the cumene dimer from crude cumene containing the cumene dimer and comprises following processes; a first process: the process for refining crude cumene (1) containing the cumene dimer and obtaining a separated fraction (2) containing purified cumene and the fraction (3) containing the cumene dimer and a second process: the process for adding and mixing dilution oil to the fraction (3).
