PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a high quality polymer in large quantity by a droplet polymerization process even using a polymerizable monomer with high reaction rate. SOLUTION: This polymerization method is a process comprising mixing a first liquid and a second liquid in vapor phase and polymerizing in droplet state, where a polymerizable monomer and a polymerization initiator are each included at least in either the first liquid or the second liquid, characterized in that at least one of the first liquid and the second liquid is spouted in the vapor phase in droplet form so that the cross section of the spouting forms a closed loop-like liquid film.
