PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system for monitoring abnormality in a bathroom in which a preecho of an accident in the bathroom is caught without fail and occurrence of an accident is found in an early stage while protecting privacy of a person taking a bath. SOLUTION: The image in a bathroom is subjected to correction, e.g. mosaicking, before being displayed to the outside of the bathroom. The correction level can be switched stepwise and can be selected in accordance with the privacy level of a person taking a bath. Consequently, the inside of the bathroom can be monitored constantly without causing a sense of shame in the person taking a bath.
