PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto tensioner capable of reducing a parts cost and a assembly cost by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A common member 10 whose slipping bearing part 10a and frictional part 10b are integrally formed is interposed among the boss part 2a of the swinging arm 2, of an auto tensioner, the spindle part 1a of a fixed case 1 and a presser member 6 in place of a conventional slipping bearing and a conventional frictional member. Thereby, the number of parts is reduced, and the parts cost and the assembly cost can be reduced.
