Hindering the deactivation of coordination catalysts comprises irradiation of the catalyst with electromagnetic radiation to hinder catalyst poisoning and in addition deactivated coordination catalysts (e.g. Ziegler-Natta catalysts) are quickly reactivated by irradiation with electromagnetic radiation. An Independent claim is included for a device for hindering the deactivation of coordination catalysts (CC) and/or their reactivation including a unit for emission of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) which is directed towards the CC.
