PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint capable of preventing a packing from protruding from an annular groove by pushing of a pipe material when connecting the pipe material to a pipe connecting portion. SOLUTION: The packing 25 for sealing an interval between the pipe material to be connected with the pipe connecting portion and an inner cylinder 21 arranged on the pipe connecting portion to be fitted internally with the pipe material is attached in the annular groove 24 formed on an outer periphery of the inner cylinder 21. In this packing 25, a protruding portion 25a protruding diametrically and outwardly from an outer periphery surface of the inner cylinder 21 is formed. The packing 25 is provided with a flat portion 25b having an outer peripheral surface formed to be substantially the same plane with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 21, at the position of an upstream side of the protruding portion 25a in an insert direction of the pipe material. |
