PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of realizing resource saving by effectively using tab paper remaining after execution of a tab insert function. SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a non-tab paper storing means for storing non-tab paper, namely recording paper having no tab, and a tab paper storing means for storing a tab paper bundle formed of a plurality of sheets of tab paper in which tab positions of the sheets of tab paper are shifted sequentially. An image is formed on the non-tab paper or the tab paper from specified image data, a tab insert mode of producing one paper bundle for output is executed, and the remaining tab paper other than tab paper used in producing the paper bundle for output, of the tab paper constituting the tab paper bundle, is discharged as partition paper at a predetermined timing discontinuity of a predetermined job. |
