<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant-mesh type manual transmission having a structure compacted by eliminating a synchronous means, suppressing unevenness of fastening/releasing control caused by influence of oil temperature, a secular change or the like, and capable of quick shift operation, and provide a gear shift controller therefor. SOLUTION: This manual transmission has plural constant-mesh type shifting gear trains 201-205 and 211-215 disposed between an input shaft 5 and a counter shaft 200; plural dog clutches dc1-dc3 with no synchronous mechanism, installed on the input shaft 5 or the counter shaft 200, and having sleeves freely movable such that the sleeves engage and disengage with dog teeth respectively installed to the adjacent shifting gear trains 201-205 and 211-215; a shift command means connected to the respective sleeves, outputting a shift command by driver's operation; and a starting clutch connecting/disconnecting between an engine and the input shaft 5. As the starting clutch, an electromagnetic multiple disk clutch is used.</p> |
