PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfonyl heteroaryltriazole and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound. SOLUTION: The sulfonyl heteroaryltriazole is expressed by formula (I) [e.g. 6-(5-phenyl-3-trifluoromethyl-[1,2,4]triazol-1-yl)-pyridine-3-sulfonam ide]. The compound is useful for the treatment of inflammatory diseases or other inflammation-relating disorders of mammals (preferably human, dog, cat and livestock) such as arthrosteitis, rheumatoid arthritis, colon cancer and Alzheimer' s disease.
