PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition having high ability to prevent/ remove dental plaque/tartar and teeth discoloration and also having good feeling after used. SOLUTION: This dentifrice composition is obtained by including water- sedimentable powder obtained by drilling holm oak carbonate (especially Bichotan, a kind of charcoal). This dentifrice composition, despite being black, can quickly and entirely be removed from the oral cavity by ordinary washing, and all of the relevant panelists have reported that this dentifrice composition increases both refreshing feeling and slippery teeth feeling after used.
