PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily move a connection pin to a pin hole in a boom connection part without requiring labor and scaffold, and drive the connection pin to an insert completion position by hammering the pin in horizontal direction. SOLUTION: In this pin operating machine, the pin P for connecting structures to each other is inserted into the pin hole provided in the structures. The pin operating machine comprises a pin holding device 17 for holding or releasing the pin P, a pin operating arm 7 for moving the pin holding device 17 to the pin hole so that the pin P can be inserted into the pin hole, and a self-traveling base machine 2 supporting the pin operating arm 7.
