<p>An injection molding system (100) including a method, apparatus (110), ejector member (140) and mold (150) for extruding plastic articles. The method comprising the steps of injecting annular streams of plastic material into a mold (150) including a first portion (165) being used for forming at least one article, and a second portion of said article forming a sprue attached to the at least one article. The flow of the annular streams is controlled by a throttle pin (135) as the streams come together at the nozzle gate portion to form a circular stream, until they are injected into the first portion (165), against the mandrel (166). The method further includes terminating the streams of plastic material and ejecting the sprue formed.</p> |
