The invention concerns a self-adhering support (A) for an applied abrasive product, comprising a support for abrasive (1) secured to a self-adhesive sheet (1a). The invention is characterised in that said self-adhering support (A) has a water vapour permeability higher than 1 g.m<-2>/24h, in particular secured by a porous adhesive matrix (1b). The invention also concerns the method for making a self-adhering abrasive product incorporating said self-adhering support.
