PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic correcting timepiece capable of correcting the time in a shorter time regardless of receiving state. SOLUTION: This automatic correcting timepiece is provided with a pointer for displaying the time, a driving system for driving the pointer, a standard wave signal receiving system 11 for receiving a standard radio wave including standard time information transmitted from a base station, a receiving circuit 13 for receiving the standard time information transmitted via a communication network from an information processor, a transmitting circuit 12 for transmitting a request for transmitting the standard time information to the information processor 3, a receiving mode selecting switch 23 for selecting a receiving mode, and a control circuit 15 for correcting the time on the basis of standard wave standard time information received in the prescribed timing by the receiving circuit 13 according to the receiving mode, and correcting a time lag not more than a second unit of the display time on the basis of the standard time information included in the standard wave received by the standard wave signal receiving system 11. |
