PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle which improves acceleration response without deteriorating an exhaust gas by promoting rise of a supercharged pressure. SOLUTION: The control device for a vehicle having a supercharger for generating a supercharged pressure in response to an operating state of an internal combustion engine and a transmission for changing a rotational frequency of the internal combustion engine in response to a transmission ratio, is provided with an acceleration request determining means for determining that there is an acceleration request (Step S1) and a transmission ratio control means for changing the rotational frequency of the internal combustion engine so that the supercharged pressure is raised by changing the transmission ratio (Step S4).
