PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent turbulence of an electric field in liquid crystal by eliminating an etching residue. SOLUTION: An electrode constituted of plural electrodes PX which are located by extending in a direction and are arranged side by side in a direction intersecting the direction is provided in each pixel region on a surface of a liquid crystal side of one substrate SUB1 among respective substrates disposed to face each other via the liquid crystal. Further a space between at least a pair of adjacent electrodes among the plural electrodes is partially formed to be narrower than that of other parts.
